The following article about Sven Hassel (and his fans) comes from the March 1999 issue of Esquire magazine (UK edition). It's more of the same basically. The usual dismissal of SH as useless pulp. Well, fair comment but if his teaching guides us away from Nazism (and any other political/religious stance you might care to mention) and into mindless debauchery then it can't be all that bad!!
